Whole Wheat Bread

¾ cup water

2 tbsp sugar

3 tsp salt

½ butter

1 ½ cup warm water 110 degrees

2 tbsp yeast

2 cups wheat flour

4 cups white flour

In saucepan melt butter with ¾ cup water and salt. Let cool. Mix 1 ½ cup water with yeast and sugar. Pour all ingredients together, add 2 cups whole wheat flour, 4 cups white flour. (May have to add up to 1 more cup of white flour). Knead 10 minutes. Let rise in covered bowl. Divide into two greased bread tins. Let rise. Bake 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
