Liz Barr

The place of my birth is only blocks from where I now ship your packages. I was raised in the Friends church here in Newberg and have countless extended family members here. I moved away for only a few years to Germany (Bible school), California (as Christian camping staff), and Tulsa (Bible school again) before returning. I live in Dundee now with my husband, Mike, and our blended family (Claude, 15; Mikey, 14; Emma, 13; Cory, 12; and Haley, 11). We live in a friendly neighborhood, and our home is a busy place with our children, their friends, and our three cats coming and going. My life's focus at this point is raising our children. This is, by far, my most difficult task. My work at Barclay is my adult/calm time. I have worked part time here at Barclay Press since 1999 (Haley called it “Broccoli” Press back then). Baking/cooking, card making, and sewing are my choices of relaxing pastimes when the mundane things have been caught up with at home.
