Judy Woolsey

I'm a retired elementary school teacher, graduate of George Fox College and University of Oregon, wife of a Newberg businessman, mother of two married sons, and grandma to six beautiful children.
I grew up in Central Point, Oregon, and my husband, Dave, and I returned there to raise our sons. After living and working there 30 years, we moved to Newberg, where Dave continues in business and we both enjoy more time with the immediate and extended family we have in the area.
We attend Newberg Friends Church and also enjoy the occasional opportunity to visit other Friends churches—a fun experience for us because of the connection we have through years of involvement in Northwest Yearly Meeting (NWYM). I am currently serving on the NWYM Board of Communication.
In addition to working with the Board of Communication, my time is spent working part time for Barclay Press, substitute teaching at C.S. Lewis Academy, babysitting the younger members of the family, visiting with my mother at Friendsview Retirement Community, reading with a book club, and chatting with old and new friends.
