Richard Sartwell

I'm a native Oregonian who sojourned in the Midwest for a few years where I gathered up some education, a wife (Linda) and two daughters, and several years of pastoral experience among Friends. I'm a graduate of Malone College in Canton, Ohio, Earlham School of Religion in Richmond, Indiana, and am currently enrolled at George Fox Evangelical Seminary in the Doctor of Ministry program. After pastoring for 33 years (the last 14 in Newberg, Oregon), I left pastoral ministry and now serve as Director of the Friends Center, a program of Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends aimed at recruiting, training, and mentoring leaders for service in local Friends church congregations.
