My wife, Melissa, and I are currently living outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as I attend graduate school. I have felt a call to serve the poor for most of my life and I am currently studying at Eastern University focusing on international economic development.

Melissa and I met while we did our undergraduate studies at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. We were married in 2004 and in the time since our wedding we have lived in Alaska, interned at a Christian camp on the Oregon Coast, lived in Salem, Oregon (while Melissa attended graduate school), and moved across the country to Pennsylvania.

Melissa is a teacher and is working a second job at a local restaurant. We are excited for what this year and the future holds.
