Joe Ginder is pastor of Long Beach Friends Church, a small, young, multi-ethnic church dedicated to being Christ's family, making disciples in the inner-city of Long Beach. Joe's ministry is focused on teaching and leading in a way that encourages new leaders to grow and develop their gifts in ministry. Many of the members of Long Beach Friends Church are Cambodian, so Joe and others from the congregation have made many trips in support of Evangelical Friends Church Southwest mission work and other Christian work in Cambodia. Long Beach Friends is also a strong supporter of Fred Newkirk and Inner City Ministries' work in Long Beach.

Joe, a native Hoosier, is married to Susie. Joe and Susie moved to Long Beach when God called them to minister there in 1986. Joe was called as pastor at Long Beach Friends Church in 1996. In addition to his ministry as pastor, Joe also works part-time at Mindbox LLC as Principal Computer Scientist. Joe enjoys writing and using his computer and software expertise in ministry.
