Jamie Johnson

I grew up in the wonderful town of Newberg, Oregon, a place I still occasionally call home though I have not lived there since 2001. After graduating from George Fox University in 2000, I married my wonderful wife, Erin, a social worker by trade and especially by heart. For the last six years we have lived in Boston, where we each attended graduate school—a master's in social work for Erin and a master of arts in church history for me. We've got two energetic boys—Kincaid who was born in August of 2004 and Ethan who was born in October of 2006.
I have worked at Gordon College for four years in various capacities—currently as director of housing, resident director, and adjunct professor. Working here has allowed me to pursue my passion in life—working with college-age students in a Christian liberal arts setting. In the free time that I can find I like to run, watch baseball, read, be outdoors, and spend time with Erin, Kincaid, and Ethan.
