David J. Robinson is the general superintendent of the Evangelical Friends Church—MidAmerica. He spent nearly 30 years in pastoral ministry, serving Friends churches in North Carolina, Texas, and Kansas. More recently David was president of Houston Graduate School of Theology in Houston, Texas. He is a graduate of Friends Bible College (Barclay College) and Houston Graduate School of Theology.

He has been married to his wife, Jan, for 44 years, and he has two children, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. “This family is the light of my life and the great joy of my age. It is also the major reason for the grey hair. I delight in having them all close to me,” he says. David also enjoys an occasional round of golf and is an avid college baseball fan.
