David Johns

David Johns is Associate Professor of Theology at Earlham School of Religion. He is a recorded Friends minister and has taught at both Wilmington College and Malone College as well as served Friends churches in Ohio and Indiana.
David graduated from Malone College, Earlham School of Religion, Kent State University, and has a Ph.D. in theology from Duquesne University. He is active in the Quaker Theological Discussion Group and the Faith & Order Commission of the National Council of Churches. A frequent speaker at conferences, workshops, and churches, his work has appeared in such publications as Quaker Religious Thought, Friends' Quarterly, The Journal of the Friends Historical Society, Quaker Life, Evangelical Friend, Christian Reflections, Ecumenical Trends, Cross Currents, and Studies in Spirituality.
